MULTI-CHANNEL PROTECTION AND PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM

The MOVISYS system is designed for the real-time multi-channel protection of machines. It consists of a 19”, 6U industrial rack.

Its modular structure allows for the connection of up to 52 transducers for real-time monitoring.

MOVISYS is compliant with the main specifications of standards API 670 and 678, ISO 2954 and 7919.

In addition to its protection function, MOVISYS can be coupled to a trending platform or a predictive maintenance platform.

   Global functions

  • Monitoring inhibition: 1 logical input per rack
  • Alarm acknowledgement: 1 logical input per rack
  • Trip multiply: 1 logical input per rack
  • General power supply:  115/230V ac (optional 24Vdc or 48Vdc)

   Safety

  • Each module has its own regulated power supply, so that a defective module does not affect the operating of the other modules.

Control and Communication Module: MAM

   Monitoring of the rack

   Communication

  • 1 RS232 connection + 1 insulated RS485 connection
  • Communication with MOVISET set-up software
  • Communication with predictive maintenance software
  • MODBUS communication with third system

  

4-channel protection module: MSVU

  • Universal and fully parameterizable protection module
  • Each channel can be configured separately

   Inputs:

  • 4 channels: ICP accelerometer or velocimeter or proximity probe with individual current limited transducer power supply
  • 1 tacho/sync channel for proximity probe or TTL signal
  • 2 dc 0/10V input channels devoted to the collection of measurement conditions
  • 1 24Vdc logcal input for trip multiply

   Outputs:

  • 4 recorder dc outputs: 0-10V or 4-20 mA
  • 4 bufferised ac outputs (terminal box on the rear panel)
  • 4 bufferised ac outputs  (BNC on the front panel)
  • 4 relay command outputs

   Calculation of monitoring indicators:

  • Single or double integration
  • Programmable filtering: band pass, narrow band, tracking filter
  • Detection: RMS, peak or true or equivalent peak-to-peak
  • Accelerometer-specific processing: 10-1000 Hz velocity according to ISO 2954, HF acceleration
  • Proximity probe-specific processing: position (gap), pp vibration, Sppmax

   Visual display on the front panel for each channel:

  • OK light: status of transducer connection
  • Pre-alarm light
  • Alarm light
  • By-pass light: Inhibited channel, manually or automatically if detected as defective

   Alarms:

  • 2 threshold levels per channel with validation delay
  • Adjustable alarm logic: single-channel or dual-channel
  • Command of relays in positive or negative logic, latching or non-latching.
